R.Night wraps the tent and the lights are out.

S.There’s an empty ring; not a soul about.

R&S.The noise and the laughter are memories now.

R.Gone the cheers they gave the final bow.

 

S.Dreams proved to be more than self-deceit.

R.Always said we’d never give in to defeat.

R&S.Hand in hand we’ve driven away our fears.

No more thoughts of death end sigs and tears.

 

R.Alone and everything would still be just the same.

But with you I surely learned to beat the game.

You soothed away my fear when you hold me tight.

When I was weak you gave me back my might.

 

R&S.Sleep dear – let’s dream our worldly cares away

Now it’s late and time to put to bed the day.

R&S.Tomorrow brings the chance of hope reborn.

Life will seem much brighter with the dawn.
